Outrageous Fortune wins Best TV Show at M2 awards Print
Outrageous Fortune  won Best TV Show at the 2008 M2 Magazine awards beating Flight of the Conchords, Boston Legal, Scrubs and The Sopranos. This is the second year in a row that the show has won the Best TV award.

According to M2, “One criticism you certainly can’t level at Outrageous Fortune is that it doesn’t have chops. This show has big, fat-fighting chops. Chops blackened by the barbecue of our collective, fuel-injected consciousness. Chops that chop.”

The ceremony was hosted by Frank Whitten (who plays Grandpa Ted on the hit series) on the evening of Thursday 17th January, 2008. Other award categories cover film, radio, food and beverage, transport, fashion, internet and technology.

"The West family is not a family we’d want moving in next door but they’re welcome in our living rooms any time they like," says the magazine.
