Kelly Martin is Chief Executive of leading New Zealand production company South Pacific Pictures. Kelly spent the first 20 years of her career working across both TVNZ and Mediaworks, and rose through the network ranks from photocopying to international acquisitions, before she became Director of Programming at Mediaworks where she oversaw local drama successes like Outrageous Fortune, and comedy hits Bro’Town and 7 Days.

Kelly joined South Pacific Pictures in 2012 and has worked as an Executive Producer on TV2’s top-rating soap Shortland Street, and on a run of shows, including Westside, The Almighty Johnsons, The Brokenwood Mysteries, 800 Words, Mean Mums, Educators, In Dark Places, The Bad Seed and The Sounds.

Kelly recently produced the NZFC/NZOA Premium Funded dark comedy series based on a true crime story, Far North, screening on THREE in August 2023.  Her first feature film This Town was released during COVID in 2020, but still managed to be number one at the NZ box office for several weeks. Kelly was on the SPADA board from 2012 -2020 (President from 2012-2016/2017) and President of WIFT for 4 years stepping down in 2019, however, she remained on the board of WIFT stepping back in as President in 2024.

Andrew joined South Pacific Pictures in 2020 as Managing Director and has quickly established the production company as a leader in unscripted content including local versions of titles Travel Guides, The Dog House, Snack Masters and The Traitors.  Andrew also has credits on SPP’s scripted series Duckrockers and The Brokenwood Mysteries.

Prior to his time at SPP held executive level roles with numerous media companies. He established music television network C4 prior to moving over to sister network TV3 where he helmed the unscripted slate which included titles The X Factor, NZ’s Next Top Model and Married at First Sight.

In 2014 he was promoted to senior executive level as Director of Content for radio and television with MediaWorks, overseeing the company’s suite of entertainment brands on both their scripted and unscripted slates for television, including credits on Westside, Head High and The Gulf.

Andrew is also a former Head of Music at MTV UK and Ireland.

Sally Campbell is an experienced producer with 30 years in the industry. She has history as a  Line Producer, Producer and Executive Producer.  She has produced five series of the international television series Power Rangers and Legend of the Seeker , and Line Produced Evil Dead.  More recently Sally has produced four series of the award winning The Brokenwood Mysteries.

From 2001 to 2003, Sally was the Head of Production at South Pacific Pictures and was instrumental in the producing TV drama such as Mercy Peak, Mataku, Being Eve, Shortland Street and the internationally acclaimed film Whale Rider.  Sally served as Executive Producer on Mataku, Being Eve and Shortland Street, and was Executive Producer/Line Producer on Mercy Peak. 

Sally returned to SPP as Head of Production from 2019 and has been the Executive Producer on The Sounds, Head High, Educators, Mean Mum’s, Duck Rockers, the last four series of The Brokenwood Mysteries and most recently produced the hit TV series Far North.

Hannah works with South Pacific Pictures’ CEO, Kelly Martin, Managing Director, Andrew Szusterman to oversee and develop new scripted projects.

Jo provides administrative support to the development department including assessing submissions, preparing funding applications and selling documents, and liaising with writers and devisors of projects in development.

Hayley’s career in unscripted television began as a producer on multiple incarnations of The Amazing Race, including the International Emmy-winning  Australian version, Series Producer of The X-Factor NZ for Three, she then went on to Executive Produce  The Real Housewives of Auckland and 2019’s Best Format Reality Series, Dancing with the Stars NZ for three seasons.  

Hayley then moved in-house at Media Works, starting as the  Head of Development for THREE and soon stepping into the role of Senior Network Executive, responsible for three seasons of MAFS NZ,  Patrick Gower: On Weed, Stan and Gogglebox NZ. 

Hayley has since joined South Pacific Pictures as it’s Head of Unscripted, working to expand its slate, including overseeing local versions of hit formats such as The Traitors, The Dog House, Snack Masters and Travel Guides NZ.

Trish Heard is an experienced Story Producer and Director with 16 years in the industry. Television credits include The Traitors NZ, Travel Guides Aotearoa, Jono & Ben Good Sports, Dog Almighty, Knives Out, The Real Housewives of Auckland, The Curious Mind with Nigel Latta, What Next? Series 1 and 2, Stan, Kune’s Kitchen and Smashed Palace. 

Trish joined South Pacific Pictures in 2022 to oversee and develop new unscripted projects alongside Hayley Cunningham and Andrew Szusterman.

Tania is South Pacific Pictures Chief Financial Officer. She manages the corporate and production finance departments, overseeing all daily transactions, providing reports to shareholders and other interested parties.  She also manages, develops and implements the financial systems for the company.

Jessica is the Head of Legal & Business Affairs for South Pacific Pictures. She oversees the legal requirements of the business, including contracts, intellectual property, and media law. Jessica started as a lawyer in commercial practice and has been part of the production industry since 2008.
