Qantas Award Nominations for South Pacific Pictures |

South Pacific Pictures received 10 nominations in the 2009 Qantas Film and Television Awards, with three primetime drama series (Outrageous Fortune, Go Girls, Shortland Street) up for awards in various categories.
Outrageous Fortune has seven nominations including Best Drama Programme, Best Performance by an Actor (Antony Starr), Best Performance by a Supporting Actress (Siobhan Marshall), Best Script – Drama/Comedy (Rachel Lang, James Griffin), Best Camera Work (Martin Smith), Best Editing (Bryan Shaw) and Best Sound Design in General Television (Carl Smith, Steve Finnigan).
South Pacific Pictures’ most recent television drama series, Go Girls received two nominations; Best Performance by a Supporting Actress (Bronwyn Bradley) and Best Original Music in General Television (Jonathan Bree).
Weeknight serial drama, Shortland Street was also nominated in the Best Performance by a Supporting Actor category (Owen Black).
The Qantas Film and Television Awards will be presented at an evening ceremony at the Civic Theatre on Saturday 5 September.
