AFTA nominations for South Pacific Pictures: Print
Congratulations to all South Pacific Pictures nominees at the Aotearoa Film & Television Awards (AFTAs).

South Pacific Pictures received 17 nominations across a number of categories.

My Wedding and Other Secrets has five nominations; Best Feature Film, Best Director in a Feature Film (Roseanne Liang), Best Lead Actor in a Feature Film (Matt Whelan), Best Lead Actress in a Feature Film (Michelle Ang) and Best Screenplay for a Feature Film (Roseanne Liang & Angeline Loo).

The Almighty Johnsons received three nominations; Best Performance by a Supporting Actress (Fern Sutherland), Images & Sound Best Editing Drama/Comedy (Bryan Shaw) and Best Original Music (Sean Donnelly & Victoria Kelly).
Stolen is also a finalist in three categories; Images & Sound Best Director - Drama/Comedy (Britta Johnstone), Images & Sound Best Editing Drama/Comedy (Allanah Milne) and Best Sound Design (Tom Miskin, James Hayday, Mike Bayliss & Steve Finnigan). 

Outrageous Fortune is nominated for Images & Sound Best Drama Programme, Best Script - Drama/Comedy (James Griffin) and Best Contribution to Design (Katrina Hodge).

Go Girls is nominated for Best Production Design (Gary Mackay), Shortland Street for Best Performance by a Supporting Actress (Rena Owen) and Spies and Lies for Best Performance by an Actor (Antony Starr).

Kura Productions' series Kawhao Rau is also up for Maori Language Commission/Te Mangai Paho Best Maori Language Programme.
