
Tamar Munch has worked as an entertainment publicist in New Zealand and Australia. Prior to joining South Pacific Pictures in early 2005, Tamar worked for the Seven Network in Melbourne where she was the Publicist for the network's international programmes as well as several key local productions. Tamar's first stint working at South Pacific Pictures was in 1994 as the Shortland Street Publicity Assistant. Since then she's worked in a variety of publicity roles including TVNZ and as a freelance publicist for film, television and theatre. Tamar's freelance work for South Pacific Pictures includes Mercy Peak, Being Eve, Jacksons Wharf, Market Forces, Mataku and Jubilee. As Head of Publicity, Tamar is responsible for the publicity and promotion of all South Pacific Pictures productions as well as delivery of publicity materials and corporate publicity for the company and its affiliates. The Publicity team also includes Rachael Keereweer who is the fulltime Shortland Street publicist, Rose Swale who is the Shortland Street Publicity Assistant and Lucy Ewen who assists Tamar on a day-to-day basis.
