South Pacific Pictures series Outrageous Fortune was named Sony Best Drama Series at the Air New Zealand Screen Awards on August 24. The series also won Best Drama Programme for Episode 4. The awards come just ahead of the series of Outrageous Fortune, which will screen at 9.30pm, Tuesdays on TV3 from September 5th.

The awards also recognised South Pacific Pictures crime drama series Interrogation. Claire Chitham was named Best Supporting Actress (TV), Lisa Hough won the award for Achievement in Editing, Drama, and Fiona Samuel won the award for Script, Single Episode of a Drama Series or Serial for Episode 8.
