Star Runner

Josh Logan is a teenager with dreams of becoming a harness driver. Those dreams have been soured with the accidental death of a horse at the last stables where he worked. A chance encounter with Carol West, a tough enigmatic stable owner, introduces him to a very special horse, Star Runner. But with Star Runner comes mystery, intrigue and danger.

Josh's love for Star Runner draws him into the dark secret of the horse's origin. Carol West and her rival, Canadian businessman Richard Fenton are ruthless people and fight a determined duel of wits for the horse. Both say they own it - but when the stables go up in flames and Star Runner is nearly destroyed, Josh realises he must solve the mystery to save the horse.
